Dear Singer

Our 2025 programme starts on Saturday April 26th with a Workshop on the three works that we will be performing at the Cheltenham Music Festival in July, These are the Berlioz Te Deum, the Brahms Alto Rhapsody and the Messe des  pêcheurs de Villerville by Gabriel Fauré and André Messager and we will be conducted by Adrian Partington. The Workshop is at The Crypt School, Podsmead Road, Gloucester GL2 5AE and runs from 10am - 4pm with check in from 9.30am. I will have scores available with me for both hire and purchase. A booking form is attached.

Our rehearsals for the July 5th performance start on June 10th. Scores that have been hired for the Workshop may be kept for this with no additional charge. A rehearsal schedule and booking form are attached.

For the concert our soloists are Dame Sarah Connolly in the Brahms and BBC Radio 3 New Generation Artist Liam Bonthrone in the Berlioz, the orchestra will be the British Sinfonietta and our conductor will be Adrian Partington.

All singers who take place in the Workshop are guaranteed a place in the concert. We will be limited to 150 adult singers by the staging in Gloucester Cathedral and we will be joined by around 50 choristers from Gloucester choirs in the Berlioz.
